Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collection Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting customers who have outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely payments. The Collection Agent will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all collections activities and communicating with other departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers who have outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans
Ensure timely payments and follow up with customers as needed
Maintain accurate records of all collections activities
Communicate with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Meet or exceed monthly collection goals
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in collections or a related field
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
