Position Overview:
We are seeking both Entry Level and Senior Level Tax Preparers to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing tax returns for our clients while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
Work independently in a remote setting
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Assist clients in maximizing deductions and credits to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and changes to ensure accurate and efficient tax preparation.
Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and deliver excellent results.
Participate in company-sponsored training programs and professional development opportunities.
Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications:
For Entry Level:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred NOT REQUIRED).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the tax industry.
Previous internship or work experience in tax preparation (preferred but not required).
For Senior Level:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation or related field.
Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Taxslayer, OLT).
In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality tax services and client satisfaction.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively.
