The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is Alaska's premier tourist destination and we need your help!
We are looking to add a Guest Services Agent to our team beginning 2/4/22!
Working with you and your goals, this position can be FT/YR or PT. Flexibility from both AWCC and yourself, will make for a successful working relationship.
Our retail store showcases many Made in Alaska artists and items, a vast array of clothing, knives, art, jewelry, and toys. The admissions station greets hundreds of visitors a day and assists guests by helping them get acquainted with our property. 100% of the proceeds of all the sales go back into caring for the rescued wildlife at the AWCC.
This position is responsible for daily transactions, stocking, and cleaning for AWCC visitors in the retail shop and admissions booth. All new teammates will be trained to work in both the admissions booth and the retail store.
ON-SITE HOUSING IS AVAILABLE for full time employees.
A valid driver's license is required for all positions at AWCC.
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required for all staff.
The AWCC is located in Portage Alaska, which is about 45 minutes south of Anchorage, and 15 minutes south of Girdwood. Portage valley boasts spectacular views of the Turnagain Arm, as well as many glaciers, and many great hikes to experience on your days off.
