Position Summary:Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in our busy 26-bed Med/Surg/Peds department. Patients range from geriatric to neonatal. The hours for part-time are four days a week from 0630-1300 with rotating weekends. The days vary from week to week and are dependent on available nursing staff and the rotation of the nighttime CNA. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing basic nursing procedures including input and output, daily living activities, application of simple dressings and perennial care.
Obtaining and documenting patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, weight, respiration, and pulse.
Providing personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, eating, bedpans, and transportation.
Helping patients and communicating changes in patient's condition to the appropriate staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
License Requirements: Current Nevada CNA License. American Heart Association BLS Certification required within 60-days of hire.
