The complete suite of solutions from HealthEdge delivers a digital foundation for payers specifically designed to fuel a digital transformation, reduce costs, and improve both clinical outcomes and the member experience.Position Summary :You will be leading agile cross functional software development teams, analyzing, designing and developing products in the healthcare payer market. This is an opportunity to build upon our market-leading products and create a suite of data products based on our core systems. This hire will have significant experience leading teams and in implementing large-scale, distributed, highly available, data-driven enterprise software applications. Customer empathy and user-centric design will be a priority. The ideal candidate will be excited about working on new product development, is comfortable pushing the envelope and challenging the status quo, sets high standards for him/herself and the team, and works well with ambiguity.What you will do :
Prepare software development milestones and sprint plans to achieve project goals
Manage product Scope, Development, Quality and Schedules
Manage all phases of software development lifecycle
Manage stakeholders, communication and risk mitigation
Implement best practices in software development
Manage product/technology innovation, evolution and trade-offs
Leads software developers by example, coaches and evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for department and individual team members, recruits, motivates and trains staff
Leads the work breakdown and product backlog grooming effort
What you bring :
5+ years of experience building and managing teams
5+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed, highly available, data-driven enterprise software applications
Experience with Java, WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS based applications
Experience building applications using Microservices architecture
Experience building cloud native applications on AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience with full DevOps lifecycle (CI, CD and CM), containerization and virtualization
Outstanding project management, collaboration and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to get to the root cause of the problem
Bias for action and ability to get the work done. You do not resort to escalation every time you face a roadblock and have ability to unblock the team.
A comfort level with challenging the status quo
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Empathy towards the customer
S. in computer science or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with data technologies.
