Colorado Art Restoration Services, a fast-paced, high volume art conservation and restoration firm in Lakewood, Colorado, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Art Handler / Inventory Control Associate to properly inventory, package, handle, load, and transport artwork to and from desired locations; create, maintain and continually improve an efficient, accurate and well-organized inventory and warehouse environment, support art restoration and framing staff, aid in project coordination, customer relations, and scheduling, while contributing to the attitudes and work ethic of our culture.

Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move and positions object weighing up to 50lbs.
Ability to bend, turn, twist, kneel and/or squat in order to be able to move about and/or remain stationary, up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to work on and climb up and down scaffolding, stairs, and ladders safely
Knowledge and experience in the fine art, framing, and/or art restoration industry and customer service helpful
A clean driving record, valid Colorado driver’s license, and a personal vehicle
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Solve problems, proactively identify issues, and remove barriers to the team’s progress, with a strong toolbox of techniques to help and energize teams to meet deadlines with strong deliverables
Ensure all shipments, receipts and releases, are completely accurate
Manage inventory and warehouse layout in multiple locations to ensure all items have accurate locations and sub-locations, including and especially, upon release or receipt of items to and from the warehouses
Create and maintain safe and appropriate storage of all artwork, equipment, furniture, and misc. warehoused items
Receive and process new inventory within stated goal of 24 hours
Ensure collection of payment on-site with accuracy and confidence when necessary
Conducting condition checks and complete written reports of inventory
Collaborating with security experts to protect against damage or theft
Make internal deliveries & pick-ups between storage warehouses and our main campus
Communicate relevant time and material needed for specific tasks i.e storage solutions for large works, or pieces that need specific or unusual attention.
Installation and preparation of artwork for all on-site needs.
Daily cleaning and maintenance of warehouses and company vehicles
Monitor, inventory, and maintain company equipment
Organize group work as well as individual work
Provide excellent customer service and an experience that exceeds customer expectations
Making sure the warehouses and all inventory locations are secure at the end of the day
Meet staffing shortages or special needs as required
