Position: Shop manager/fabrication
The Denver Shade Company works with high end clients to bring Motorized Window Shade Technology to their homes and businesses. We help design and install interior and exterior shades, as well as create unique outdoor spaces that consist of automated pergolas and awnings from premier European shade design companies. Our product offerings have become very popular in Colorado, so The Denver Shade Company is growing! We are in need of a highly motivated and professional individual to join our team. Full time position. Salary dependent on experience.
Requirements:
Experience with hand tools and saws preferred – experience in fabrication, home construction.
Able to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders
Basic understanding of internet connected devices helpful but not necessary
Work in Shipping and Receiving not necessary, but helpful.
Presentable, professional, and reliable
Experience managing inventory helpful but not necessary
Responsibilities:
Run and organize the shop
Fabricate shades and shade systems
Program shades, including app setup and troubleshooting
Load and unload heavy packages on top of vehicles for transport
Communicate well with others
Ship and receive products
Inventory management
This is a great opportunity to grow professionally in a small business. This position offers a lot of variety of work. The shop manager spends time at our shop assembling or repairing shading systems. As well as receiving and organizing shipments and preparing projects for install. Also helps with managing inventory.
