Biohazard Technician – Valor Technical Cleaning
Valor Technical Cleaning is looking for a certified biohazard technician with an interest in biohazard cleanup (better known as crime and trauma scene cleaning). This is an entry level cleaning technician position, but license/certification is required. The qualified candidate will be someone who truly wants to help others in their greatest time of need. Services we offer include but are not limited to:
o Crime and trauma scene remediation
o water loss and mold mitigation
o infectious disease decontamination
o homeless camp cleanouts and rodent waste removal
Job Duties and Candidate Requirements:
- Strong work ethic as well as a strong stomach
- This position is not your typical 9 to 5 job
- Company is on call 24/7/365, although most jobs are requested and completed during normal business hours
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available 24/7
- Labor intensive position and requires the ability to work in bio-hazard safety suits and a full-face respirator
- Strength and stamina are a must
- Must have the ability to lift, carry, and dump heavy objects
- Position can be taxing mentally and physically
- Right candidate must be capable of working for long periods on their feet, whether standing or crouching
- Must be able to work in tight spaces, such as crawlspaces and from a ladder
- Must be capable of working within bug infested environments
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a smart phone
- Reliable transportation
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Exceptional understanding of power tools
- Construction or restoration background is a huge plus

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Benefits: Paid time off
Schedule: 10-hour shift Monday to Friday, Night shift, On call Weekends
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
Experience: Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred) Driver's License: (Required)
Pay Frequency: Biweekly or Twice monthly

This Job Is: A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED.
