Front Office Job and Patient Interfacing
SEE THE TRAINER® is currently seeking an entry-level Front Office / DME Fitter. This position entails working closely with patients and various aspects of patient care within the facility. The ideal candidate will be trained to handle fitting, patient education, billing, insurance eligibility, collections, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Position Duties:
Provide fitting and educate patients on the applications, usage, care, and expected outcomes of products, following physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations.
Educate patients on provisions, financial responsibilities, and facilitate collection of patient payments.
Ensure all necessary documentation and authorizations are obtained as per payer requirements.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
Manage shipping and receiving of products.
Conduct light housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Alpha and numeric data entry skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately while paying attention to detail.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
Basic knowledge of Anatomy, Medical terminology, Insurance claims, and Insurance benefits.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent judgment, decision-making, and time management abilities.
Capacity to organize multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
Availability to work some Saturdays.
