This position is responsible for ensuring: (1) the proper storage and staging of materials for Production; and (2) preparing and delivering mill rolls to Print.
Job Description:
Store and stage materials according to company processes and specifications.
Ensure proper material labeling procedures are being followed.
Ensure all transactions are processed in AS400 and other requirements on time and accurate.
Must maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work area.
Ability to use equipment (Forklift, stacker and electric hand jack) properly.
Communicate current plan of action with other shift stagers.
Must always be mindful of surroundings and in particular when working on shipping docks.
Participates in Continuous Improvement Projects and processes
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience Minimum 5 Years Production Experience in High Speed Operation 1-2 years of related experience
Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Use of basic math skills
Must be able to work independently
Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment
Forklift experience preferred
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift to 50 lbs without assistance
Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often
Must be able to push mill rolls, up to 1,000 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk an entire shift (8 hours) or approximately 15,000 steps in one shift
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Day Shift: Friday through Tuesday
7:30am - 4pm
Afternoon Shift: Friday through Tuesday
3:30pm - 12am
Night Shift: Shift: Friday through Tuesday
11:30pm - 8am
