Location: Omaha, NE Description: Our client is currently seeking a Test Engineer II
This job will have the following responsibilities:- Perform testing as defined on go/hat-test-catalog
- Contractor will collect and analyze data to enable engineering decisions during HW R&D, report on findings, and investigate test outcomes thoroughly down to a hardware interface or component level.
- Contractor will support test engineers and design engineers with debugging, component verification, and failure analysis of development and released products
- Create test reports summarizing test results, findings, issues
- Perform root cause and failure analysis
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience is preferred. But open to more or less based on skills/past roles.
- Hardware or software test experience preferred and have created test reports summarizing test results, findings, and issues.
- Preferred experience to troubleshoot, analyze, and root cause system and design issues
