2nd Shift Press Apprentice

Apply today to join our team as a 2nd Shift Press Apprentice! THE ROLEHOURS: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role, Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm. After training, the hours are 3-11pm.Press Setup & Operation Training: Drive clamp truck to drop and open rolls. Start, inch, crawl, idle, and shut down the press. Understand and adjust air settings on the Cutstar. Install and remove plates. Change blankets and packing on ink and coating units.Learn to hang and splice rolls on the press. Sync sheet size between Cutstar and press.Equipment Maintenance & Stocking: Install ink key liner and fountain liner. Insert ink canisters and fill ink fountains. Wash blankets, rollers, and impression cylinders. Learn coater startup, shutdown, and maintenance procedures. Set roll and sheet size accurately. Load and unload skids in delivery.
