Data Governance Consultant We are looking for a Data Governance consultant to help with our data governance and analytics assessment. This includes facilitating interview sessions with business and technical users, analyzing the business and technical requirements and creating a comprehensive strategy and plan to meet our client’s business needs. This individual must be a strong data governance consultant and be focused on assessing our client’s environment and requirements and designing Data Governance solutions and services to support full lifecycle Data Governance implementations. The consultant will create Data Governance (DG) project charters, lead DG implementations, lead organizational design, lead change management, help create data driven cultures that treat data as a strategic asset that require Data Quality and Data Management disciplines and focus. A key component of this person’s responsibility will also be ‘pre-sales’ support, including face to face meetings with Catch customers, supporting the Catch sales team with prospective clients. This role will also be responsible for supporting our clients with putting together Data Governance programs and strategies and must have previous Data Governance mentoring experience. This role will also require strong organizational skills. Training, coaching, and mentoring skills will be required to mentor client Business Sponsors and their Data Governance team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead activities around Data Governance, strategies, and mentoring clients on how to implement DG programs. This position will work closely with clients to create or enhance DG programs and to help customers mature their DG capabilities. The DG consultant will help lead customers in the process of implementing these CATCH Intelligence reusable deliverables and processes for customers. Data Governance Program Backlog (Data-related Issues, Needs and Opportunities collected from Business Community and organized into themes such as Data Quality, Policies, Processes, and Procedures, Data Standardization, Data Security, etc.)
Initial Scope for the Data Governance Program Pilot Project (e.g. Selection of 1-2 Quick Win ideas to implement – a way to pilot the act of governing by the business over the organization’s data and related data governance processes)

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement Data Governance methodologies, frameworks, templates, and tools to meet technical and business requirements
Strong knowledge and experience developing and leading data governance programs
Excellent customer communication and pre-sales experience
Previous experience implementing Data Governance processes, procedures and methodologies is required
Experience with industry Data Governance tools is desired
Detail oriented with excellent organization, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system, computer engineering or equivalent working experience is required
5+ years working experience in data governance and data environments
3+ years’ experience as a Data Governance Consultant
Note: This is a full-time salaried position. May be required to travel 25% or more.
