Join the Blur Events dedicated team to gain hands-on experience in event production. Blur Events is seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant who is dependable and hardworking, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

BLUR OVERVIEW

Blur Events opened in 2008 as an event production company in Lincoln, Nebraska. We specialize in events built from the ground up, hosting annual festivals and hospitality tailgates within Nebraska and some surrounding states. We provide a dynamic and energetic work environment that fosters collaboration and encourages employees to learn and grow their skills in different facets of event production.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Warehouse Associate, overall responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following:

Organize and maintain warehouse tools, supplies, and event equipment.

Perform maintenance on equipment and supplies.

Assist with load-in, set-up, activation, tear-down, and load-out of equipment for each event.

Assist with coordinating and delivering the highest level of production at events.

Assist with ensuring backend logistics run smoothly at events and troubleshoot issues.

This position may include additional duties as assigned.

Hardworking with a track record of dependability and reliability

Experience working with standard power tools a plus, such as drills and saws.

Ability and comfortable climbing ladders.

Construction skills are preferred, but not required.

Familiar with operating heavy equipment such as scissor lifts, generators, and forklifts.

Tech savvy is preferred but optional, but willing to learn, such as being familiar with sound and lighting equipment, installing equipment, and running cables.

Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more, such as; speakers and TVs.

Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours

Ability to work long hours during events, during all weather conditions.

At least 21 years of age, preferred.

Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Background check required.
