Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Data Scientist/Analytics Engineer will use data technologies and integration tools, visualization tools, mathematics, statistics, modeling and business analysis skills to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions. Associates in this position are given considerable latitude in determining objectives and designing solutions to moderately complex to complex assignments alongside customers and are expected to execute the work with minimal direction supervision.

Consults with customers and other technical experts on the team to understand business problems and define data requirements to address them

Designs, implements, monitors, maintains, and enhances optimized, scalable, and well-documented data pipelines, objects, tables, and other data structures for widespread analytical use

Builds optimized, scalable, and well-documented data pipelines, objects, tables, and other data structures for widespread analytical use

Works iteratively with customers to build data visualizations in modern business intelligence tools like Power BI to intuitively communicate insights and answers to the identified business problem

Works alongside teammates and business stakeholders to execute data and analytics projects by applying knowledge of data pipelines and data science, as required

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting from a variety of sources

Strong proficiency in SQL; experience writing complex queries against very large data sets

Significant experience using cloud-based data integration tools to build scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and modeling use cases in on-premises and cloud environments with very large data sets

Experience using Power BI or other modern data visualization tools to create and present reports, projections and model results to support business strategy and tactics

Knowledge of best practices related to relational data modeling and schema design

Ability to use mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree in computer science, data science, information systems or other technical disciplines

Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling or machine learning

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with Azure Synapse Analytics (ASA), Python, Snaplogic or similar

Experience using MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL

Experience analyzing medical claims or health care provider contracting

Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$117,600 - $161,700 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
