Bioprocessing Scientist

Setup, operate and troubleshoot large scale equipment (bioreactors, centrifuges, autoclaves, chromatography skids, filtration skids, CIP/SIP stations, autoclaves) to support biopharmaceutical productionPerform operations and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Operate automated process controllers and perform cell culture in flasks, bioreactors, and/or fermenters.Manage samples including ensuring proper storage and handling of samples.Write, revise, and comply with SOPs  and associated documentation.Perform data collection and analysis by using process controllers and office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Complete documentation including GMP documentation, timecards, order requisitions, and reports.Clean areas according to specific SOPs.Assist in maintaining adequate supplies in the areas.Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment. Understand and comply with safety SOPs and procedures (Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) guidelines, Near Miss, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), biohazard training, Monthly Safety training, etc.).Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills within and outside the department using verbal, written, and non-verbal communication.
