At Kramer Farms, we are looking for a farm hand to assist in the daily operations of our small family farm located near Sutton, NE. We grow primarily corn and soybeans and have no livestock. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to help with cultivating crops as well as maintaining/servicing farm machinery. As a family farm, we value honesty, integrity, and hard work; and we are looking for someone with a team spirit to join our operation.
Qualifications:
Previous farm experience preferred
Ability to drive farm machinery such as semi-trucks, tractors, sprayers, etc.
Enjoys working with hands and being outdoors
Positive attitude and works well with others
Must be detail-oriented and able to follow directions
Looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in a job well-done
A valid drivers license (CDL preferred)
Duties or Tasks:
Assist in planting, spraying, irrigating, fertilizing, and harvesting crops
Help service/repair farm equipment
Haul corn
Hours:
Full-time position of 40+ hours per week. Saturday hours run April 1- May 30 and September 1-November 30. No Sunday hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
