DescriptionPURCHASING & PACKAGING COORDINATORPurpose & Scope:Our Company is in search of an experienced B-Shift Inventory Assistant who will be working in the Supply department at the Grand Island, NE facility. The mission of the Inventory assistant is to attain his/her work safely and ergonomically with the highest level of quality; being consistent and efficient.Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Consolidate the packaging areas, maintain and organized the floor
Loading and unloading trailers
Must be able to do inventory counts and issuance and receiving of inventory
Recommends programs to improve the management of inventory
Ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
Ability to work with a computer
Must be willing to be forklift trained.
Other duties might be assigned as needed
Education and Experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be dependable
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to recognize problems and take appropriate action
Ability to recognize when an issue should be referred to the Supervisor
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. individually and lift 50 lbs. on occasion
Preferred forklift experience
Working Conditions:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with proficient accuracy, and some heavy lifting.
Schedule M-F and Saturday when needed or as needed.
