The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana State Hospital. TheMontana State Hospital (MSH)in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state. Job Overview:Providespsychologicalassessment, documentation, and treatment of multiple, complex, and complicated mental health issues using a variety of methods that requiring knowledge, skills, and experience per licensure. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Ability to work as a psychologist per licensure in the State of Montana. Working knowledge of Clinical Treatment techniques provided for adult psychiatric patients including subgroups of patients with psychotic disorders; mood disorders; personality disorders; substance use disorders; patients involved in the criminal justice system; geriatric patients; and other mental disorders. Ability to compose and provide information in the form of reports and complete clinical documentation. Meet minimum qualifications: o PhD in Psychology. o Two years of post-licensure experience as a psychologist. o Licensure as a Psychologist at time of hire.
