Trollhaugen Lodge, www.trollhaugensofn.com, owned by the Sons of Norway District 2, is seeking full time Managers/Caretakers to oversee daily operations of the lodge. Trollhaugen is a year round recreational facility nestled in the Cascade Mountains, 1 mile South of I90 on Stampede Pass Road. Applicants should possess knowledge or prior experience in a hospitality or related business. Experience in financial management or accounting is desirable. The ability to communicate effectively and warmly with lodge members and their guests is highly desirable. Experience and knowledge of building maintenance is necessary as well as mechanical aptitude. Duties include reservations, snow cat maintenance, maintaining cleanliness of the lodge, bathrooms, sauna, hot tub and laundry as well as snow removal from common areas. The Manager/Caretaker position is a team, couples are encouraged to apply. A modest year round apartment, utilities and basic satellite TV are included. The position is structured as a renewable 1-year contract, 10 months paid salary of $30K and eight weeks negotiated vacation in the off-season between April 1st and September 30th, however, you have the option to work those eight weeks if so desired.
