Skilled Framer/Carpenter:

Job Description Summary:
Work in one or more work areas along an assembly line, creating prefabricated home building systems (contingent on your level of experience).
Follow defined procedures and practices in our production line process, offering suggestions for improvement if needed.
Complete accurate and proficient paperwork when needed; notifying the supervisor of any errors or non-compliances of product standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work area (free of garbage and debris, as well as any tripping hazards).
Required Assets:
At least 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing related environment as a framer/carpenter. Preferably in a lean manufacturing or construction related environment is a plus.
Must have a certification from an accredited Vocational Technical school in this field, or a minimum of 1 year experience in structural home building or construction
Basic knowledgeable for using hand and power tools safely and appropriately
Flexible to work overtime (OT) if or when it is needed.
Minimal travel if required for a specific job
Physical Requirements (as listed but not limited to):
This job involves the following physical demands: walking, standing, bending, stretching, use of hands and fingers to hold, grasp, push, and lift items. All have the possibility of 'continuous' movement needs for this position.
Lifting requirements are generally up to 40 or 50 pounds but may vary up or down as needed.
