Assembly and Installation Technician (MISSOULA)
American Truck Wash Systems is an expanding company that designs, manufactures, services, and installs automated truck wash systems all over the United States. The expansion in our enterprise demands the inclusion of a new staff associate. A mechanically inclined employee is needed to synchronize and complete production and installation on a timely basis.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a hands-on capacity to build mechanical and electrical assemblies used in automated truck wash equipment.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from Production Lead and prioritize job tasks.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings to complete work orders.
- Fabricate spray bars using pipe threader and drill and tap machinery.
- Build, wire, and test industrial control panels used for control and automation.
- Assemble, construct, test, and commission various wash systems and machines.
- Travel to customer sites to install wash equipment. Expected travel up to 25%-35%.
- Work within a team environment to accomplish daily production goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Mechanical assembly or service experience in a fast paced environment.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with low voltage electrical wiring (24VDC).
- Hydraulic experience a plus.
- PLC and/or HMI programming experience a major plus, but not necessary. On-the-job training can be provided.
- Must be detail oriented and capable of following instructions and working independently.
- Proficient in written and oral communication.
- Quality, safety minded, reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
