Missoula Law Firm Seeking Paralegal
We are a small law firm with a diverse civil litigation practice based in Missoula, Montana. We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our team of motivated lawyers and staff to help us continue to provide excellent legal representation to our clients.
The position:
Full- time (40 hours per week)
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
In person, based in downtown Missoula, Montana.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Case/file management and organization;
Assisting with discovery production.
o Maintaining attorneys’ calendar of case-related events, deadlines, and reminders;
o Assist attorneys in managing time, projects, and meeting deadlines;
o Communicating with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, experts, and other third-party individuals.
o Drafting, proofreading, revising, and finalizing legal documents and correspondence.
o Preparing and filing documents with courts and administrative bodies.
o Other duties/projects as assigned or needed by the firm.

Grammarian;
Highly organized and able to utilize systems of organization as provided;
Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
A healthy sense of humor;
Working knowledge and competency in the following programs:
o MS Word;
o MS Outlook;
o MS Excel:
o Nuance/Adobe or other PDF modifying software.
At a minimum, Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years’ experience in the legal field.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Preferred but not required:
o Notary Public
Compensation:
Wages are competitive and dependent on experience but will be no less than $30.00 per hour for paralegals with experience.

After 1 year, employees are eligible to receive bonuses and are eligible to take part in the Firm’s retirement/investment fund matching program.
