F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber, Co is hiring Millwrights for our Sawmill department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sawmill Millwrights work in the sawmill on existing equipment repairs and maintenance as well as installing new equipment and structures. Day shift position, approximately 40hrs per week working Fridays through Mondays or Thursdays through Sundays. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Millwrights should have 1-3 years’ experience in repair and fabrication of equipment and machinery as well as a general understanding of lumber quality and production line efficiency. Preferred education includes welding certification, crane certification, hydraulic and pneumatic schools, general electrical knowledge and machining school. Preference is given to experience in design and drafting, computer operation, heavy equipment operation, general sawmill, planer, power plant experience, and plumbing.

DUTIES/TAKS:

Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent and Lead Millwright, the millwrights use skills to repair plant equipment and facilities. The millwright will be involved in repair, maintenance and fabrication of various types of equipment throughout the plant. Millwrights work closely with Machine Operators, Foremen, Saw Filers and Electricians. Millwrights must supply their own tools and storage necessary to preform job duties required.
