Looking for a merchandiser, Kalispell
Pay : $100 per day, 5 days per week.
Grocery stocking experience a huge plus.
This job takes 2 to 4 hours per day. Starting time is between 7 am and 9 am. You can have all holidays off, with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving, the first week of May, and the first week of July.
Pay is Weekly. I can set you up with direct deposit.
Kalispell stores, (Costco, Smiths, Walmart, sometimes Target). As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising a complete line of Mission tortillas and chips. Hours vary by season. Up to 30 hours some weeks during the summer, and usually under 20 hours the rest of the year. Half of the work time is spent driving between stores.
Some of the more frequent tasks you would perform include:
Driving to assigned locations.
Using equipment (e.g. carts, pallets, etc.)
Filling store displays with Misson products. Facing our displays. Rotating our products and removing defective and out-of-date products from our displays.
Tidying up shelves and displays, knocking down boxes and disposing of any waste
This is a physical job with some heavy lifting. Hours per week average 20+ hours. You should feel comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation (examples: a microwave; a cinder block).
What kind of worker will do well in this role?
Strong Work Ethic : You just need to show up and do a good job independently. You will need to be comfortable working without a manager monitoring your day-to-day activities. Reliability is very important.
Physically able : I do dozens of squats at every stop, in order to properly stock my products while protecting my back.
Flexibility : you are able to adapt to changing situations, new tasks and priorities as changes occur; you will encounter challenges and should usually be able to resolve them by yourself.
Dress for work : No tank tops. No open toed shoes. Pants. Shorts. T shirts. Shoes.
Attention to Detail : merchandisers are meticulous when it comes to checking dates on tortillas, tidying shelves, and arranging products.
Communication : You will need a cell phone to communicate with me about store needs, and for me to do the same with you.
Positive Attitude : you will be part of a team that relies on one another to build professional relationships and attend to customer needs while following store procedures, work rules and safety policies.
Conscientious : you are organized, task driven, comfortable following direction.
Ready to advance. If you are willing and capable to do more, I am looking for someone wanting to work towards delivering a route and earning a larger salary.
Have a truck and enclosed trailer? I'll gladly hire someone to deliver the route as well. That pays $175 per day.
