Quality Vision Care is hiring for a full or part time Optometric PreTester position.
No experience is required, we will train!
Position duties and responsibilities:
Pretesting patients for their appointments:
Set up equipment, monitor patient, and record results in patients chart
Ask questions relative to the patient’s appointment and record answers in chart
Clean rooms and equipment after each patient
Assisting with daily tasks in the office when not prestesting a patient
daily tasks are subject to change, but you will be trained in each task assigned
Our office hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm on Friday, and 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday. We have full days of appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and will need full staff to be available all day. Wednesday will be a half day for all employees (either morning or afternoon shift). Friday is a short day of appointments, most employees leaving by 3:00pm. Saturdays are a rotating shift, usually only working 1 saturday a month.
Requirements:
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Applicant must be detail oriented, efficient, consistent, receptive to constructive criticism, team player, and above all a nice person who loves to work with people!
While experience in the optometry field is not required, experience with Microsoft applications, google applications, and being able to navigate the internet with ease will be required to work in this position comfortably.
We are a small office of only 6 employees. We have one optometrist and some of the best patients!
