Seeking a bread mixer to join our team. This is a part-time (25 to 30) hour a week position, mornings starting at 6 am.
Mixing the dough is physical: lifting up to (but not frequently) 50 pounds, bending/stooping. It is also technical: must be able to follow a recipe and do simple math. The mixer is expected to learn and follow our system and stick to a daily production schedule while coordinating with others in the bread department to get desired results. Sourdough bread is our specialty so you will learn all about natural fermentation. This position also includes some dishwashing.
For this position, you don’t have to be outgoing but you do have to be a good communicator. The ideal candidate is humble, curious, and hardworking.

There is a possibility of this being a 40 hour a week position, if you want to round out your hours with dishwashing or front counter service.
