Dog Creek Lodge & Nordic is hiring for the 2020/2021 winter season!
Barista, Customer Service, Ski Tech, Sales - Full and Part Time Positions
Understanding or the ability to learn full-service cafe & nordic shop
Sell & make coffee drinks and food to order, breakfast and lunch items including bakery items, pizza, salads and sandwiches
Sell food products over counter and via drive through coffee window
Sell nordic ski passes, have guests sign liability waivers, instruct guests on how to fit and use equipment, knowledge of trail systems and equipment used including nordic skis, boots, poles, snowshoes, fat bikes.
Sell overnight lodging packages and gain/share knowledge of resort property and it’s accommodations & amenities.
Good communication skills and flexibility in schedule for weekday, weekend, morning & afternoon shifts.
Serv-safe certification a plus, but not required

Reliable transportation
Knowledge of nordic skiing and related activities a plus

Groomer, Plow, Maintenance - Full Time Position
Understanding and/or ability to learn equipment including ATV, Tractor with Plow, Nordic Grooming tracked machine
Ability to safely plow grounds, parking lots, driveways
Safe and effective grooming of nordic trails and ability to work outside in winter conditions
Shoveling and snow blowing of decks and walkways, ice removal from buildings
Ability to work outside under challenging conditions a must
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills a plus, option for more work outside of regular equipment and maintenance duties
Flexibility to arrive as early as 4:00AM for grooming
Good communication skills and flexibility in schedule including weekends
