Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
Computer literate, must assist with scheduling and coordination of 30+ employees.
Must possess or can attain an approved Group Fitness Instructor Certification within 90 days (ACE or ACSM)
Must attain a Les Mills certification of choice within 6 months.
Must obtain CPR and AED certifications within 60 days of employment.
At least one Group Exercise certification required.
Assist the Fitness Manager with all related Group Fitness duties.
Must have basic computer skills.
Status: Regular Part Time or Full Time
Compensation: $17-$18/hour DOE plus shift differentials

Schedule: Schedule will require varied shifts including some evenings and weekends.

Summary of Work: You will act as a fitness resource and mentor for other instructors, coordinate program and class scheduling, observation and evaluation of instructors, encourage continued class participation through your active involvement with participants and other group fitness instructors. You will offer motivational and exciting group fitness instruction using current techniques and programs to promote individual fitness and personal growth.
