Aspyn Contractor Group is seeking to hire a full-time Construction Site Superintendent, who focuses on the on-site management and coordination of construction activities. Job responsibilities involve overseeing the day-to-day operations at the construction site to ensure efficient and safe execution of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Resource Management: Allocating and managing on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
2. Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications, verifying and assisting with layouts and construction methods and procedures.
3. Safety Management: Implementing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Quality Control: Conducting on-site quality checks, monitoring workmanship, and addressing any quality issues or non-conformities.
5. Progress Monitoring: Monitoring construction progress, tracking milestones, and reporting on-site activities to the project management team.
6. Material and Equipment Management: Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment at the construction site.
7. Site Logistics: Planning and managing on-site logistics, including access routes, traffic management, and temporary utilities.
8. Daily Site Operations: Addressing on-site challenges, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
9. Communication: Facilitating communication between on-site workers, subcontractors, and project management team members.
10. Site Documentation: Maintaining accurate on-site documentation, including daily reports, extra work agreements, work records, and site diaries.
