We believe that dance can bring joy, improve fitness, and create meaningful connections. We're on a mission to build a lively and inclusive dance community in Bozeman, and we're looking for a passionate dance choreographer to join us.
This is a unique opportunity to build a new experience and create a welcoming space for adults of all fitness and dance levels. Help us create an experience that brings strength-building, cardio, expressive movement, and joy through dance to our community!
Role overview
You will be responsible for choreographing 3-5 dance fitness classes, each about an hour long. We will work together collaboratively to create the choreography, pilot a few classes, get feedback from members, and iterate on the choreography as we go.
Bonus if you are interested in teaching the classes!
Core responsibilities
- Help define our brand style and choreograph high-energy, follow-along cardio dance routines inspired by hip-hop and pop music
- Bring a creative and collaborative spirit to piloting and iterating our early classes
- Create a positive, inclusive environment for members of all skill levels
Ideal qualifications
- A passion for dance with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Experience in dance choreography
- Strong understanding of various dance styles
- Located within the Bozeman, MT area
