The Elevated Metal Solutions (EMS) Sales Representative is tasked with qualifying and nurturing inbound and outbound leads for EMS sheet metal products through calls, emails, and CRM tools. Responsibilities include building client relationships, delivering presentations, preparing proposals, and ensuring timely follow-up to advance sales opportunities. Additional tasks include performing material take-offs, generating estimates, and supporting administrative functions such as invoicing and marketing coordination. Strong communication, CRM proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Deliverables/Accountabilities:
Inbound Lead Nurturing
Qualify and convert leads through calls, emails, and CRM tools.
Provide continued education to customers about EMS sheet metal product offerings and EMS’s value propositions.
Maintain timely and consistent follow-up with warm leads to advance them through the sales funnel.
Schedule and hold product consultations or site visits to gain further information on inbound request
Use CRM software to document all interactions, track progress, and update status on each lead.
Outbound Lead Generation & Nurturing
Identify and research potential clients through cold outreach, industry databases, community research, and referrals.
Develop and execute outbound campaigns
Initiate contact via phone, email, social media, and other platforms to generate interest and uncover opportunities.
Build relationships with decision-makers, specifiers, and procurement teams to drive awareness and build trust.
Follow a structured cadence to nurture long-cycle prospects and revive dormant accounts.
Utilize marketing team for outbound support
Use CRM software to document all interactions, track progress, and update status on each lead.
Communication
Serve as the primary, professional point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships.
Deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients and prospects
Prepare and communicate accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts in a timely manner.
Address and resolve client complaints or escalations quickly and transparently.
Perform consistent follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Actively participate in sales team meetings, sharing updates and collaborating across departments.
Maintain accurate CRM records, logging all client interactions and deal progress.
Provide reliable pipeline updates and sales forecasts to leadership.
Share client insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence with relevant internal teams.
Communicate clearly, professionally, and in line with company brand guidelines across all channels.
New Construction Take-offs/Estimates
Perform material take-offs of new construction projects
Generate and disseminate estimates based upon take-offs
Administrative
- Ability to utilize time tracking software
- Support Marketing Requests as directed
Invoicing through accounting department
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift 50 to 60lbs
Valid Drivers License
Comfortable with towing
Ability to get certified to and operate heavy equipment
Proficient in Microsoft suit
Comfortable with learning new software’s
Willing to be on elevated surfaces
Ability to work in Big Sky
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, products, and applications.
Experience working with project engineers, project managers, or buyers.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications
Ability to perform material take-offs from plan sets
Experience with CRM systems and lead tracking processes.
2+ years of sales experience, ideally in the industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
