Bozeman's best secondhand store, Do Overs, is looking for enthusiastic, ethical, and hard working people to join our team. Our business is growing and thriving, and we are hiring for both full and part time positions.
We currently need help in the following areas:
Donations receiving
The door team provides a great customer experience while managing the flow of donations into our store.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is friendly and likes talking to others, but knows when to end a rambling conversation (with a customer or with a fellow employee!).
- Enjoys both physical labor and using their brain to make smart decisions and figure things out.
- Likes working with a team. The door is not a solo sport: you will always be coordinating with 1-2 other people so that all areas are covered and so that the hard work is distributed evenly.
- Is physically able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Knows how to talk and work at the same time.
- Enjoys variety and seeing what comes through the door, but can still stay on task and not get distracted by the minutiae (aka “the vortex”).
- Can always find something to do, and prefers being busy to being idle.
- Is flexible and enjoys learning new things.
- Knows how to take initiative on a project without going rogue.
Front of House
Our front of house team members play a key role in the customer experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our business on a day to day basis. We want people who are not afraid to be friendly and helpful, but also know how to keep moving and juggle competing priorities throughout the day.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is friendly and helpful: someone who likes people.
- Is efficient and has a good sense of timing.
- Likes variety in their work. Doesn’t mind shifting gears often.
- Has the ability to make order from chaos and make things look pretty.
- Doesn’t mind getting a little dirty.
- Can be on their feet and keep moving pretty much all day.
- Knows how to take initiative and get things done without going rogue.
- Thinks it’s cool to care; would rather be engaged than bored.
- Has an intense instinct to root out disorder and fix it.
These are the primary areas where we need help, but we strongly prefer people who are willing to learn multiple areas of our operation and go where they are most needed.
Our shifts start between 9:30-10:30 and end between 4:30-6 p.m. We need people who are available to work full shifts at least 3 days a week.
