Job Title: Marijuana Trimmer - Harvest Team (Cross-Training Opportunities Available)
Location: Gallatin Gateway, MT / Norris, MT
Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (with potential for permanent positions)
Pay: Starting at $18 per hour (with opportunity for raises based on experience)
Shift: Typical hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (flexible scheduling available)
Overview: We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our growing team at Top Shelf Botanicals! As a Marijuana Trimmer, you'll be an essential part of our harvest process, helping to ensure that our premium cannabis products meet the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position with opportunities for cross-training and growth within the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with harvesting mature cannabis plants at the end of their growth phase
"Bucking": Removing marijuana buds/flowers from plant stalks/branches
Work with the trim team to "finish trim" the cannabis product, preparing it for lab testing and packaging
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
Cross-Training Opportunities:
Learn how to operate our marijuana trim machine (Greenbroz Model M Trimmer)
Gain knowledge and hands-on experience in sealing and labeling cannabis products for transfer between facilities
Qualifications:
No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
Must be 18 years or older
Must have a valid Work Permit badge, which can be obtained through the Montana Department of Revenue (more information here)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
Strong work ethic and team player mentality
Flexibility with schedules, as hours can vary
