The Auxiliary Services departments (University Student Housing, Culinary Services, Sports Facilities, and Strand Union), Facilities Services, and the Student Wellness Center are responsible for maintenance and custodial of the facilities they manage.
Custodians provide cleaning and maintenance services for MSU.
Primary emphasis is on:
Cleaning areas (including restrooms)
Carpeted and hard-surface floor care
Trash removal
Room set-ups, moving and placing of furniture of varying sizes and weights
Other related duties
There are a variety of shifts across departments.
Some custodial positions require a valid State of Montana driver’s license. If offered one of those positions, that requirement will be discussed with you prior to hire.
