Job Description: Preschool Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Preschool in Downtown Bozeman
Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday to Thursday
Position Type: Preschool Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage) with opportunity for long term position.
Overview:
Preschool seeks a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. As part of the holistic approach, the teacher will also prepare plant-based snacks and lunch with the help of the students, incorporating these activities into the learning experience.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development and Delivery:
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
Plant-Based Meal Preparation:
Prepare nutritious plant-based snacks and lunches daily.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
Parental Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
