High School Math Teacher

Bozeman Field School is a small, independent, non-profit high school in Bozeman,

Montana offering place-based experiential curriculum. We are seeking candidates for a full-time mathematics teaching position starting in August 2020.

Key Duties:

Teach up to four sections of high school math. Courses may include Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics for the Informed Citizen.

Maintain student academic records.

Serve as academic advisor for up to five students.

Essential Qualifications & Qualities:

Experience teaching at the high school level

Highly organized, attentive to detail, and proactive

Flexibility, humor, and kindness

Ability to communicate and give feedback to students and co-workers

Desired Qualifications & Qualities:

Experience teaching in an independent school

Experience working with common grading and school management software, including Google Classroom.

Teaching credential and/or master’s degree or higher

Salary

$35,000 - $41,000
