We are a well-established, patient-centered dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a welcoming and professional setting. As our office continues to grow, we’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team. Ideally, having prior experience in a medical or dental office, though we are open to training the right individual. We also welcome private contractors who are classified as 1099's, but require all candidates of the job to have a minimum of 2 years experience with QuickBooks Desktop Version.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end/year-end closings
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and office policies
Work closely with the office manager and CPA as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting
Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferably the desktop version)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Excellent communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
