Position Title: National Sales Assistant

Position Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Come join our team at NonStop Local Missoula, MT! Western Montana’s leader in local news, weather and sports coverage on television and digital platforms!

Job Description/Additional Duties:

Answer telephones, screens and direct calls

Take and relay messages in a timely manner.

Greet visitors to the station

Sort and distribute mail

Assist National Sales Manager with National Sales Clients and Order Entries

Manage office stock supply

Data entry and support role within the sales department for KTMF-TV

Local and regional accounts order entry

Generating sales reports

Sales software data input

Power Point Sales presentation building

Assist in scheduling department and client meetings with the team

Assist with fill-in Front Desk duties when required; Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Other duties assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

Candidate must possess multi-tasking skills, flexibility, good time management, organizational skills, familiarity with computer systems, attention to detail, the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, friendly demeanor and be a team player.

A good body of knowledge relating to administrative and clerical procedures, experience with telephone switchboard operation and good communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills is a must

High School Diploma is required.

Broadcast television experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements or Restrictions: Sight and dexterity to do computer input. Ability to sit for long hours at a computer screen and answer phones. Ability to lift some computer equipment (up to 30 pounds), distribute supplies throughout the office and general office upkeep.
