Job Description As an Engagement Owner in the Change Management Team, you will have the opportunity to grow with the world's largest Healthcare IT company. You will cultivate external client relationships to achieve business objectives, direct and support a team of associates responsible for client project deliverables and influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and execute project objectives. You will create and maintain project plan based on contractual commitments, manage project resources, financials, and scope according to project plan and contractual commitments. You will also manage project risks and escalate as appropriate and manage project milestones and review regularly with both the internal project and external client teams. Join us in improving our community's health and care!In addition, as the Engagement Owner you will have responsibility for overall change management delivery at the VA facility level including oversight of organizational change consultants. You are a key member of facility engagement management team. You have responsibility for all facility-based risks and mitigations related to change management, communication of results, data outputs, outcomes of the facility to internal and external stakeholders (status reports and monthly deliverables) for change management tactics, execution of the facility change management work plans and milestone achievement, and general oversight and inclusion of learning coordinator into change management activities.Qualifications
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of project management work experience or health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experience or successful completion of Cerner's Engagement Owner Development Program
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Experience in Organization Change Management
- Federal or government experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
- Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or support work experience
- MS Suite, People soft, and Tableau
- Prosci Certification
- Create and maintain project/mitigation plans
- Identify risk
- Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
- Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airport
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- At least 3 years of project management work experience OR successful completion of Cerner's Engagement Owner Development Program
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
