Overview

As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to residential and commercial locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. You will deliver in all weather conditions, and make deliveries in rural, narrow spaces, long driveways

Key Responsibilities

1.Safely operate a delivery vehicle and deliver packages to designated locations.

2.Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes, utilizing GPS and mapping software.

3.Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including handling customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

4.Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled with care and delivered in good condition.

5.Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe driving environment.

6.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.

7.Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns.

Qualifications

1.Consent to a background and motor vehicle check

2.Consent to a drug screening (including Marijuana)

3.Consent to a DOT physical

4.21+ years of age

5.Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus.

6.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL not required. Class E 6.License if licensed out of Missouri (Class D if licensed in Illinois)

7.Ability to lift packages up to 75 lbs. unassisted, and 150 lbs. with a hand truck as well as perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
