-3 years of relevant business experience in a professional environment
-Self-starter who can prioritize responsibilities, work independently, and manage processes
-Strong commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner
-Strong organization, time-management and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work effectively in deadline situations
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe
-Flexibility to work overtime hours during peak tax season times-Jan-April which includes Saturdays
Responsibilities
-Answer, evaluate, and route telephone calls efficiently and courteously to the appropriates party using a multi-line telephone system
-Green clients in a professional and friendly manner as soon as they arrive in the office
-Scan and organize tax documents and verify quality of imagesp suport to other team members
-Assist with receipt and delivery of tax documents and tax returns via shipping, courier, or client visits
-Maintain organized filing and scanning of correspondence, billing, and individual files
-Handle incoming and outgoing UPS, Federal Express, UPS, and other special shipments
-Manage conference rooms scheduling and adjust on short notice if needed
-Ensure accuracy and quality of all work product
-Support team members with routine tasks and special projects
-Accurately enter data to generate, process, and e-file forms 1099
-Provide Administrative back-up support to other team members as needed
-Assist with formatting financial statements and engagement letters
-Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data and information
-Cover direct team member's vacation and fill in with their duties as needed
-Assist with light duty cleaning in kitchen and other common areas
