Primary Responsibilities:
We use a UPS computer manifest system, we will train on how to use this system. You need basic computer skills. We ship our items in bulk , either in boxes or fibre drums. We use counting scales to count the items we are packaging.
We have several label printers for bar coding and shipping labels. These work off of computer programs, we can train if you are familiar with using a computer. This is a single person department. We do bring in people to help as needed. You should be able to organize your area and work efficiently.
General warehouse/shipping and receiving product.
Maintain existing stock and future shipment parts.
Maintain supplies needed for shipping , boxes, tape, wrap, and skids, advise purchasing when needed.
Must be able to drive a sit down fork truck and lifting up to 40#s .
Use of barrel trucks and hand truck dollies.
Requirements: (besides a good attitude!)
1) Basic math skills and use of calculator. Good time management skills
Must be dependable ,communicate and work well with others
2) Able to stand for long periods of time
3) Flexible and adaptable in regards to work responsibilities
4) Background and drug screenings will be processed
5) Reliable transportation
