Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Job Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Type: Contract

Job Description: Technical Expertise:
  • Candidates should be very good with core Java programming.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming is a must.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Exception handling, Error handling, Arrays, loops, method overloading, variable declaration, and scope, etc.).
  • Candidates should be responsible for component development independently.
  • Understands fundamental web development concepts like navigation and page handling, cross-browser handling techniques.
  • Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, integrations, etc.
  • Build Appian embedded interfaces.
  • Having prior automation knowledge with Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber is strongly recommended.
  • Basic knowledge of Maven, like updating central repository of JARs and other dependencies, building any number of projects into output types like the JAR, WAR, etc., build life-cycle, phases, goals.
  • Experience in integration of Appian with DB, web services, external system, etc.
  • Experience in Agile methodology will be a value addition.
  • Prior experience in MVC, Hibernate, Spring.
Responsibilities:
  • Developers should be responsible for code robotic processes, push the necessary files to Nexus, and deploy robotic processes.
  • Exposure to set up resources and configure additional settings from the console independently.
  • Manage and troubleshoot robotic processes that encounter problems.
  • Support user story development, understanding business requirements.
