Extrusion Operator

Night Shift - 4:48PM-5AM (3 workdays week 1, and 4 workdays week 2). $21.50 starting pay  Maintain and monitor the hopper area, ensuring that extruders are loading the correct materials as specified in work orders.Reclaim and grind materials from production start-ups and off-spec production for reuse.Collaborate with operators to determine appropriate regrind percentages and availability.Successfully complete OSHA-approved forklift certification and adhere to all safety guidelines for forklift operation.Use software tools such as MII, SAP, and Access to accurately document and track material usage and production activities.Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grinders, ensuring materials to be ground are correctly identified.Accurately label and store ground materials for future use in designated storage areas.Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning equipment, extruders, storage areas, and warehouse aisles.
