Responsibilities

Business Systems Analyst

Responsible for participating in projects, analyzing and interpreting business requirements, implementing and testing system modifications, and providing support for the business area they serve.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Needs Analysis:
    • Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) events to help identify business opportunities.
    • Work with team to develop solutions to address business issues
  • Quality Assurance/Testing:
    • Prepare and execute test scripts for system modifications
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Work with team to develop scope and objectives for projects
    • Use a structured approach to collect and prepare specifications and requirements for application enhancements
  • Application Support:
    • Support users by diagnosing and resolving issues related to application modules
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain training and system documentation
  • Track and maintain constant communication with users from the beginning to the end of any established case, issue, or concern
  • Remain highly adaptable - Due to the turbulent nature of priorities in supporting customers, this role requires high adaptability to changing demands, deadlines, and priorities
  • All other duties as assigned
The job level may be modified upward based on the qualifications of the candidate

OTHER POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in Agile software methodology is preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer service oriented
  • Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
  • Maintain company confidentiality
  • Must handle stress and deadlines well
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Analytical Skills - critical thinking, data analysis, research, and communication
  • Travel 0-25%
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to exceptional candidates with 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to problem solve
