General Purpose and Scope of Position:

Load and unload trucks with pallet jacks and/or forklift. Contact freight lines and arrange daily/weekly shipping schedules. Manage ingredients, finished goods, and morgue warehouse space efficiently. Perform various administrative duties including scheduling and documentation. Follow all quality guidelines including, but not limited to; FEFO, QA hold, lot and location tracking, and inventory management.

Key Skills and Abilities include:

1-2 years of shipping and forklift experience

Experience in shipping domestic and internationally a bonus

Understands the need to develop solutions to meet objectives

Ability to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment

Ability to use computer hardware, software/intranet to generate reports and inventory data

Excellent communication skills with team and external representatives

Ability to multi-task and problem solve in manufacturing environments

Ability to implement and oversee company policy

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

Manage all outbound shipments to customers and 3rd party warehouses

Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Guidelines, Ameri-Pac work rules, Ameri-Pac Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, as well as Federal and State laws governing the workplace.

Ensure proper packing and sealing processes for goods

Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments

Participate in any and all training that is required for the role

Assist safety and quality teams when needed to ensure compliance with regulatory rules and regulations

Assist all shipping activities

Serve as supplemental receiving person as needed

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Other duties as assigned
