General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Wilbur-Ellis Company Clackamas Facility is primarily involved in the mixing, processing, and transferring of animal feed ingredients. We’re seeking a Plant Operator to assist in all aspects of plant production, quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required

Willingness to operate material handling equipment including a forklift, skid steer, and other equipment as required

Ability to repetitively lift packages up to 50Lb. (or 110Lb. with a partner) while working in a non-climate controlled dusty environment

Good math and organizational skills

Able to follow written and verbal directions and complete necessary documentation. The ability to read and write English is required.

Willing to work overtime hours as needed

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

Learn and train all roles required at the plant (mixing, bagging, forklift, container loading, etc.)

Operate and maintain processing equipment as outlined in SOP’s

Maintain facility cleanliness throughout all operations

Perform Quality Control while handling products

Accurately document tasks performed (processing, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)

Warehousing includes receiving, shipping, and organizing

Follow all safety, regulatory, and administrative policies and procedures

Able to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook

Perform any other duties assigned by management professionally and efficiently

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage (to be determined based on experience and other factors)
