Description:Responsible for detailing and drafting of belt, screw, and drag conveyors, and bucket elevators. Maintains direct contact with the design engineer. Generates general arrangement drawings for belt, screw, and drag conveyors, and bucket elevators. Generates fabrication detail drawings for all equipment manufactured. Interact as necessary with plant supervisor to provide clarity of detail during fabrication. Works directly with design engineer to produce general arrangement drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images for equipment to be manufactured for customer approval.Creates assembly and parts details from approved general arrangement drawing suitable for fabrication, welding and fitting, and final assembly.Assigns part numbers to all assemblies, buy-outs, etc. that are required during the detailing process.Provides final raw materials list to purchasing department in the format required for ordering from vendors.Provides final buy-out list of materials required per equipment assembly to purchasing department for ordering from specified vendor (s).Maintains complete, readily accessible files and records in the standard format designated Works with Operations, Sales/Marketing, and Administration to provide design and cost control of all products and processes.Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Maintains the confidentiality of all information processed.Skills:Solidworks, drafter, designer, MechanicalTop Skills Details:Solidworks, drafter, designer, MechanicalAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Education:Associates in draftingMust Have's:2+ year with SolidWorks1+ year experience reading and interpreting blueprints1+ year of mechanical or conveyor drafting Nice to Have's:Experience with screw conveyors and bucket elevators a plus Experience in the design and detailing of bulk material conveyance equipmentExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
