Position Title: Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift

Wage: $16.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:45pm – 1:30am

We are looking for a Lathe Machine Operator to join our team in Springfield, MO. This role involves operating machinery, assembling parts, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can work independently and in a team, and is committed to safety and quality.

Lathe Operator Responsibilities:

- Interpret work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions to complete daily tasks

- Use tools and machines to assemble parts, installing them into cases and cabinets as needed

- Set up and operate machines such as drill presses, UV curing machines, and bending machines

- Measure components and use tools like calipers to set up machines accurately

- Perform tests and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards

- Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety programs

Requirements for Lathe Operator:

- Experience in assembly or machine operation

- Hands-on experience with warehouse and assembly processes preferred

- Ability to read technical documents and follow instructions

- Skill with tools and precise measurements, especially calipers

- Good attention to detail, teamwork, and communication

- Strong attendance and punctuality

- Ability to receive and act on feedback
